thats the idea...

if you want a nice shine on that bumper, do it like this:
start with really rough paper...say 60 grit. go at it until all the big chunks of rust are gone...
then work your way ALL the way down to, 400 grit....hell even 600 if you want extra shine.

for a satin finish on my knives, ill take it all the way to 1600 grit.
i wouldnt recommend that, as you WILL spend about 40 hours of work on that bumper going that smooth.

patience is key with this though...your hands and arms will hurt, but it will be worth it in the end.

Yeah, they are. It's just a bad pic and its hard to tell with the crease in the hood. Dont look at the very front cause the crease ends and makes it look weird.

Is clear coat truely clear? or will i have to retape it so i JUST clear coat the new black paint? (vs just spraying over black and part of the blue that it does land on)
