Yeah...best thing to do when everyone is fucking stabbing each other in this country.

TK Maxx sold jackets with knifes attached
The Swiss-made Strellson jacket, which was reduced from £200 to £59 at the discount clothing shop, has a metal chain with a Vecorinox officer’s knife on the end attached to the lining.

Bloody Swiss - They're trying to kill off the next generation so they can finally take over the country. Damn neutrals, with the enemy....you know where they stand, but with neutrals...

Pics, cos it did happen

I mean for fuck sake.

Maybe this should've gone in DAST, I dunno.

That's pretty fucking ridiculous ...

It's one thing to sell something like that at a sports supply store or a camping supply store, but at a normal retailer? Hmm.

Shock and horror, because kids have absolutely no access to knives anywhere else in the world and are always looking to stab everyone else, so these jackets are appalling

This is why Britain annoys me. When I was younger I carried a swiss army style knife with quite a big blade everywhere with me and was never tempted to stab anyone.  Nowadays I'd be locked up for it, it's sad.

Because back then nobody would would tempted to stab anyway, these days just about everyone is stabbing everyone. Yeah, nobody is denying it's easy to get knives. But to sell them directly to them attacked to jackets that are for kids, it's taking the piss.

Maybe you'll understand when you get stabbed or when someone you know quite well does. This place is going out of control when it comes to kids stabbing each other up.

So the Jackets are for kids now? I don't see where it's specifically a kids coat, as far as logic tells me it's a swiss coat designed for camping and outdoor activities

It's almost a culture thing now to carry a knife to actual use on someone, rather than carrying one more as a tool (in a Swiss Army knife). Loads of instances where people stab someone else because they gave them a funny look.

I heard they were going to send anyone caught with a knife straight to the army at one point...

Apparantly it was even discussed by police, but obviously nothing came of it.

But like what's the number is it somewhere around 100 a night? 500 a night, or is it like the new Cigs here with the FSC(fire safety cigarette) which because probably about 20 house fires a year happen cause of tobacco they made this smoke which are probably more dangerous to our health then the old kind.

Attacks in which a knife was used in a successful mugging have soared, from 25,500 in 2005 to 64,000 in the year to April 2007. The figures mean that each day last year saw, on average, 175 robberies at knife-point in England and Wales – up from 110 the year before and from 69 in 2004-5.

Though the article is about a year old so i think the statistics have gone up again. As well as that, those are only the reported muggings, it doesn't take into account stabbings, assaults or other knife related crimes.

EDIT for further info.

Up to 60,000 young people, mostly male, may be stabbed and injured each year, the equivalent of more than 160 victims a day, according to a worst-case estimate for knife violence in England and Wales.

On the other hand, the figure may be around 22,000 each year for victims aged 10 - 25-year-old.

The different between the two estimates - derived from the questioning of around 600 under-25s about whether they had been "knifed or stabbed", and then extrapolated to the wider population, with all the statistical vagaries that entails - reflects the lack of precise information about the scale of knife crime in England and Wales.

Amazingly, I agree with Jamesey.

I also used to carry a Swiss army knife, but only because it was handy to have around occasionally.

This makes it sound like everyone is out to stab each other.

OH I was saying how many stabbings happen a night. Is it a terrible lot, or is it a minimal number.. In the US they have maybe around 200 house fires a year due to cigerattes so they went ahead and changed our tobacco products.
