One, does anyone know how i stop my BF2 from auto playing the disc when its inserted in the optical drive, i don't recall it happening on my old rig and i've checked and turned off any auto-play on my optical drive.

Two, does anyone know how i can make an image of my BF2 disc, i had a look about with daemon tools last night but i was unsucessful. I see this as a direct solution to problem one but if problem two is too much hassle to solve then i'll look to solve problem one.

Also, i thought i'd post here as its more game related than tech related, right?

Nero can create an image for you.

You need to express more detail, i don't have nero, i've seen that i can download a trial version of Nero 9 but i can't see where and if it'll have that ability being the trial version.

You can do it with alcohol 120%.I won't tell you how to do it because I don't feel like writing too much and I have never created an image,but it's fairly easy.When you start up Alcohol you will see on left toolbar "IMAGE MAKING WIZARD" button.Click it.

To stop it autoplaying, hold down "shift" when you insert the CD until your drive stops whirling.

p.s. don't forget to set to 'automount' once you've mounted the image in Daemon Tools. Even if you set DT to not run on start up, it will automount the image in the background and exit once its completed the task.
