Kamp, bid difference. Sammiches with chips taste good. It's more of a texture thing than taste IMHO. CRUNCH! CRUNCH!
looking at it on wikipedia it apparently has ammonium chloride. mmm!Kampframmer wrote:
ive had raw herring (its a delicassy here) and i have added a bit of chocolate sprinkles to see what it tasted like (it was said to be horrible) and well it was pretty shitty.Hurricane2k9 wrote:
Erm have you tried eating raw fish with chocolate chips or are you just speculating?
And wtf is salty licorice? Is it just licorice that's salted?
our liqourice is very different than the US one. Its a lot more salty and has a very different taste. I have yet to meet a person thats from a country where they dont have it that likes eat (or can even eat it without spitting it out)
still I'd try at least one, just to say I have.
@Marley they're some of my favorites. Fuck me I haven't had potato chips in a while... could go for some right now but I shan't.
i hate crunchy surprises in something soft.

Too tired to cook anything extravagant.

If you eat chips with your condition it would be probably be a bit like eating glass.Uzique wrote:

i actually do snack on mini cheddars, i just eat them very cautiously on one side of my face. it's quite a skill.
anything that requires a lot of chewing, as opposed to just crunching-down, is a nightmare, e.g. any big meat (which is like normally 90% of my diet)

yeah, there's this slight trend in a lot of restaurants now to serve homemade chips with a lot of sandwich dishes. Some places pull them off very well... nothing like chips fresh out of the fryer. btw sagger did you get that shit checked out or not?Uzique wrote:

protein shake perhaps?
you can probably get a pretty small amount at stores that sell it.
1 scoop is like 30g of protein, equal to more than a 100g of lean meat.

they also sell these little bottles that are basically 1 meal in liquid form. They come in various flavours (strawberry and some other fruity shit).
They contain some carbs, protein and vitamins, but they're especially very calorie dense. They're made for people that in the same position you are in right now, so they wont starve.

you start looking into those things, because soup and chips isnt exactly a balanced diet.

cheers for the recs. i'll keep an eye on it when i'm out and about over these next few days.
for the last 2-3 days i've basically been on house arrest-- not only do i look a massive twat, but i've been really feverous and too weak/light-headed to really walk around and be mobile. mostly lay around reading or sat in front of my computer like some sort of mutant basement dweller.

my knees, particularly. feverishly aching joints. i went to take a read in the bath earlier but had to get out because i couldn't sit with bent-knees.

i told you NO MORE mini cheddars!!!
yeah magnesium is good for joints, fishoil as well.
Magnesium would be really beneficial for you joints, but fish oil is an all round good supplement. It might even make you a bit more sharp throughout the day so you wont be so slow.
