The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP

I use my comp for a lot more than gaming that's related to school ie. researching, helping with stuff I don't understand, bla bla.
I can see where you are coming from. I think most parents now didn't live where society was so technologically driven. Parents will always be parents unfortunately

Loads of my friends younger brothers, say around 11/12 years old play GTA:4, (y'know the game with drugs and nightclubs) Enjoy it, and talk about it all the time.(I also like it ^^)
Do you know how irresponsible their parents are?
I played UT when I was 8, but seriously, letting an 11 year old play GTA? There can sometimes be a bit of a difference with blood and gore compared to drugs and strip clubs. (GTA4 is still an awsm game though)

Not saying that hip hop is the devil... But last album release I went to was at a small venue with security, and people were still passing a joint around in the crowd. Lots of people drunk, and depending on what one you go to likely at least a few wanna be gangsters. The promoters may allow 15 year olds in, money is money, but that doesn't mean parents should. If I was a parent I wouldn't want my kid there that young either.
They want you to go out, but that doesn't mean they want you to go ANYWHERE... Its not like you cant go out and do something else.

By taking classes on it as you go through school. Not being able to sit around on my space and MSN all day isn't gonna prohibit you from being a web designer. And like it or not your not going to be a serious web designer at 15 anyways. Not saying never touch a computer again, not saying never try and do work towards your goal at this point... but you will learn most of the serious web designer stuff when you take classes in graphic design stuff and coding. Sure its not a bad idea to work on your own and get a head start... but that doesn't require you to be at a computer all day at 15.Ecilop Murof wrote:
