Maybe the Iranians should all kill themselves for abandoning their own religion (Zoroastrianism) and converting to Islam. I think someone should tell them that.

There is a conflict at the moment between the moderate youth of Iran and the stone age loving Mullahs currently in power. When Ireland played Iran in a world cup qualifier a couple of years back the Irish fans even reported many mini-riots by youths after the game, many Iranians had said it was anger born out of dissatisfaction with the Government. Unfortunately the US foreign policy in the Middle East in recent years seems to have galvanised the likes of Amadinnerjacket and undone any progress or momentum that might have been behind the moderate movement.

But never mind any of those trivial details... fuck Iran.

One of the central beliefs of wing-nut, evangelical Christianity is that for the rapture to take place the nation of Israel must be established... hence why so many non-Jewish Americans are mysteriously so militantly in favour of defending Israel no matter how cuntish they behave.

Unfortunately, the entire story is bullshit pro-Christian/anti-Iranian propoganda.

Besides this story (which has been cross-posted all over the place), there is absolutely no other corroborating evidence for anything written in the story.

Iran is not a solely Muslim country, it has large numbers of Christians, Jews and Zoroastrians.  This is a country of 75 milllion people including many ethnic minorities.  For example, Armenians, all of which are Orthodox Christian. These three faiths are protected by the government and there is no official discrimination allowed.

Remember the story about the 2 gays who were hanged a while back?  Amnesty International admitted that they had in fact been charged with raping a minor and therefore were actually pedophile rapists.

There was also a mention in the story about how the Iranian economy is doing bad, when reality is the opposite.

I kept looking, it seems this exact story and 2 minor variations made the spread around just about every right-wing anti-muslim forum, blog, and webzine, but still nothing on msm and nothing from official Iranian sources, or anywhere for that matter.  One of the "variant" articles mentions that the 2 people in the original article were released already, but a search on their names doesn't turn up on anything legit either.
