Jack Layton is a fucking douche who would fuck our economy up the ass. His idea of instituting a higher corporate tax on businesses is harmful to our economy and job market. Profits go down, budgets must be re-adjusted. What happens when budgets must be re-adjusted? Business must cut jobs. What happens when you lose your job? And with Dion and his green shift…it will do the same thing (compared to taxes leading to job loss), but to one specific region: the western oil provinces. Oh lets just destroy one of the major economic strong points. That sounds smart/ sarcasm. For example, a green tax such as $10 per tonne of carbon can do devastating things to an economy Dependant on oil. Again, less profits, less jobs, less economic growth. (I’m starting to believe that the Liberals are using the Green Shift plan as a way to fatten up coffers, not help the environment, like my Economics Professor believes).
Thats my rant on Canadian Politics for the day. I've voted Conservative today, and where I'm from, its a landslide victory for them.
