i didnt say demise. but i think their "freebie" fun may be over.san4 wrote:
Sorry to rain on your parade, but it sounds like rumors of Southwest's demise are greatly exaggerated. They had a quarterly loss because of a bad hedging transaction. That doesn't sound like a fundamental or recurring problem.
Yeah well they're still the best domestic Airline in the tri-state region so you can fu marine, yeah you heard me
Really though, pretty much all domestic airlines world wide and the aviation industry as a whole is going down the water closet.

Why the hell are you using US Airways Hein? They constantly seem to be rated as extremely fucking shitty for service and for fees. They fucking charge for water!

I have to say Ted and Southwest were the nicest ones I have flown. I liked Soutwest's snack box. That was more than most carriers provide. The steward's semi-funny commentary was decent, as well.
US Airways sucked for me. The seats were cramped, and my knees were jammed into the next seat's metal crossbar for 2 hours.

I just got fucked outta another $40 for checking my bags today on US Airways. Fucking commies.
Everytime I have flown US Airways I've either been delayed, lost luggage, or actually canceled with no help whatsoever. (Had to stay the night in the airport because they only pay for a hotel if you've already made your connecting flight. As if some people don't actually travel to the airport they fly out of.)RAIMIUS wrote:

I don't dislike NWA or Delta, I like their upgrading plans, fifty bucks and you are first off and first on with whatever drinks and grub you want, plus ginormous seats.
Southwest is alright, although I hate their damn online check in for best boarding zone bullshit. A lot of the business ppl pay for a program that checks them in the instant it becomes available and I have to sit in the back next to the engine because I checked in 3 minutes after it came up online.
On topic, I'm still thinking that the no cost checked bagging HAS to be working for them. I mean we all gripe about how every airline is charging us out the ass, that might be their niche they can hit to get a little more saturation with frequent return customers.
