Hi,
I'd like to install WaW mappack ( http://www.bfewaw.com/map/ ) on our community server but I haven't done any installing on the server yet.
So how do I do it? I have Bf2cc installed and running, also already downloaded server files. Do I need to have BF2 installed on the PC where I have BF2cc daemon? Cos I don't have BF2 installed on my laptop where Bf2cc is installed.

I am an admin on the server if that means anything. Or did you mean any other access?

By admin, I take it you just mean BF2CC admin. You need actual access to the server (say, FTP) to be able to upload files.

Is the server rented? And I assume it's not ranked?

Bf2cc admin only. I'll send a PM to FTP owner asking him for access. Servers are owned by community members and yes, its unranked.

Then yeah, the guy with FTP access just has to upload the map files (folders) to the mods/bf2/levels/ folder.

Allright so lets say he uploads the maps on FTP. Do I have to do anything in BF2cc?

you need to add it to the map rotation. i saw a similar post a few days ago, try searching for it, someone had a guide with screenshots and stuff

you need to add it to the map rotation. I saw a similar post a few days ago, try searching for it, someone had a guide with screenshots and stuff

I'll try searching for it, thanks. I know how to admin a server, just thought there still needs something to be done before adding maps to rotation. So uploading maps to FTP-thats all I need to do?

Upload them, add them to the maplist in BF2CC, save, apply profile, restart ... is what I would do.

You may need to restart the server once you've uploaded the maps via FTP before they appear in the BF2CC GUI.
