Golf cart police chase!

Police in the US state of Utah are still tracking the whereabouts of a 'souped-up' golf cart thought to have been fitted with a car engine.

On Thursday, October 16th, the vehicle was seen being driven illegally in a park, after which officers gave chase in motor cars, the Associated Press reports.

But the driver of the cart allegedly diverted into a field, managing to jump ditches before escaping the attentions of the police.

Although officers say that the vehicle was not faster than their own automobiles, the golf cart was able to negotiate obstacles which they could not.

The suspect was tracked down at his grandmother's house the next day, but police are still unsure of the modified golf cart's location.

Serious lulz, made me chuckle to myself on the train home from work.
