Iran is definitely voting Obama.

“We are leaning more in favor of Barack Obama because he is more flexible and rational, even though we know American policy will not change that much,” Larijani said at a press conference during a visit to Bahrain…
Larijani, a leading figure in the conservative camp in Iran, also said the United States was too busy dealing with the global financial crisis to consider waging an attack on Iran.
“The risk was low before,” he said. “But now I am 100% certain that the United States will not unleash a war against Iran. The economic crisis has cost the United States $1.4 trillion and Washington is working to resolve its internal problems and not a war.”

Interesting... but clearly inaccurate. 80% Obama in the US? Lol.

it is going to be skewed one way or the other. Noone is neutral. No one. It is just that Fox is the only one that leans even a little bit right.God Save the Queen wrote:

Looks like the world is voting Obama. Obama promises change, the world sees McCain as more of the Bush. The global community has no love for a Republican led USA with the Neo Con New World Order a priority.
Pretty sure the world is NOT voting Obama. Nor is the world voting (or not voting) McCain.JahManRed wrote:

The flaws in that map have been pointed out rather dramatically as having no foundation in fact.
Plus there's the whole thing about it being a US-only election...

Yes, I think we grasped the fact that the rest of the world can't vote. jeeeeeze. Its hypothetical. I can only talk for Ireland & UK. Everyone I have talked to on the subject wants to see Obama win as they disagree with US policies and want to see a change. As a marker of world opinion goes id say its reasonably accurate. That's all it is tho. Opinion.FEOS wrote:

So you believe that the rest of the world prefers a Republican over Obama???FEOS wrote:

Is it so surprising? In true socialist/liberal fashion, America has something you all want, so who better to "spread the wealth" than to vote for Obama?CameronPoe wrote:
This interesting exercise by right-wing magazine 'The Economist' demonstrates how the world feels about America and in particular about American Republicans:

Strangely Cuba is 'Leaning McCain'... and what about the 'Democratic' Republic of Congo, eh?

Your response?
IE sucks.
I think the main two reasons the rest of the world would rather have someone like Obama, is that his regime is more likely to make the US economy better, which in turn means everything goes down nicely for everyone else, and that he's also less likely (only just, he is still an American afterall) to start a stupid war. Which always messes up things somehow for everyone, for the most part (unless it's some random African/Latin American country)

Here's another one that seems to have more votes

My response is that his claim is ridiculous. The entire world is facing global meltdown primarily down to excessively right-wing irresponsible fiscal and regulatory policy on Wall Street. Global terrorism has skyrocketed under Republican administrations. The rest of the world sells America their shit: America plummeting headlong into further disarray and alienating more and more pivotal nations worldwide benefits no-one. Ergo we want a non-Republican seemingly sensible, fiscally responsible, conciliatory and constructive person in the white house to bring America out of the shit and reintegrate it into the international community. Obama is the lesser of two evils - he is the only possibility of achieving this.Flaming_Maniac wrote:

Not to mention that if McCain carks it America would be led by a dumb evangelical hick who would probably seek to expedite 'the Rapture'.
