a 1800 number sends you to a cell phone? Weird. I think that might be a scam, email them? I don't know how to deal with internet scamming sites

It is a scam. Their logos are actually images, not links, and their copyright notice is actually invalid. Also, if you look at the pricegrabber link, there's a couple of people who posted on the reviews section, both state it's a scam.
You just lost $25, mate. sorry.

K - First, they are supposedly based in the US.  However, they spell 'organization' with an 's' instead of 'z', which is the non-American way of spelling.  The contact number and fax number are two different area codes, which is suspect as well.  The only contact is Scott, who is also listed as the Human Resources contact.  At the very least it is a poorly run business.  I would be more concerned with them having your credit card information.

I'd say you lost that money.  Report them to the BBB as well.

Well, the company behind the website (American Dynamic Ventures LLC) is a legitimate US Small Business based in Maryland ... and they have been in business for several years.

American Dynamic Ventures LLC

Now, being a small business, you might get some mixed results ... depending upon who is running the thing.   Regardless, assuming you paid by Credit Card, then you have nothing to worry about.

Jsut call your credit card company and tell them to cancel your order. SHould cost you something for the effort, but you get your money back.

With the address, I would say it is a very nice residential neighborhood.  Even has a school near by.

Call your credit card company and put a stop to the transaction. If you really want to be make sure no one can use your CC, have the credit card company close your account "BY YOU" and have them issue you a new card (new numbers).

Well, as I implied earlier, I don't think this is a scam but a small business.

Scams typically shy away from Government exposure, they have a short business history, and they operate in obscurity and in the dark.

This company is connected and exposed to the US Government (they received a Small Business Administration loan), they have real phone numbers and addresses, and they have been in business for nearly 3 years.

Now, this small business might be totally irresponsible in fulfilling orders, and maybe they have even shut their doors but the web site is still taking electronic orders that never gets filled ... but, I don't have the impression that this is being run as a scam.

That's why when it comes to the internet, just stick to reliable massive corporations/websites. That's why I never touch the small ones/ebay or shit like that. Meh, when it comes to small things it's usually hit or miss. I don't like taking chances like that.

You don't have to close the account though, you can just explain the situation, or say you lost your wallet, they'll issue a new card with a different number but same account.

I'm a slob, and occasionally  I lose my credit card in piles of shit lying around, I never know for sure where my card went, so I just have the company issue me a new card with different number, just in case I lost it somehwere else.

yeah... i kinda thought so.  But I just stated that because it's technically inaccurate, so the advice wasn't followed in THAT way.

coincidence? i think not

but just call your credit card company and tell them what happened, here in the UK the credit card company would cancel the transaction for you and you keep your money
