OK, this would be for a seminar and helping people with their presentational skills. What we do now is record them with an old as hell VHS camera, rewind back to where the start of their presentation was on this section of the tape, give them the tape to watch in a viewing room and then we pick up their next presentation when they go back up in the rotation of people. Every person has a tape of their own and over the course of 3 days, they do about 5 recordings.

DVD cameras or mini-cassette cameras don't work, it's been tried and the DVDs don't like to record in sequence like this (something to do with finalizing the disc). My idea is finding a camera (not sure what kind), record it to a computer and then have them watch the videos on a second computer. Now the thing is this: network the two computers together and save the videos all to a shared folder OR give each person a USB stick and save them to that.

What do you guys think? Possible? Feasible? Better ideas?

use an IP camera (security camera) they dont need to finalise.
