British developers are leading the way this generation?

I have noticed that this generation of consoles are being heavily supported by british developers making flagship titles.

Fable 2
Little Big Planet
Motorstorm
Motorstorm 2
Burout Paradise
Haze
Grid
Grand Theft Auto 4
Empire Total War (I know not a console game but still huge)
Lego Batman
Heavenly Sword

I think they are especially important for Sony as alot are exclusives for the PS3

And there are plenty of developers who are American/based in other countries as well...Konami, Bethesda, VALVE..., EA Redwood Shores, DICE, BioWare, etc.

Regardless, there are more developers from Non-UK places that make good games than there are British. Though the Brits do make some damn good games.

I prefer games from Europe/Japan than the US. Actually, generally speaking everything is better from Europe/Asia. Except TV/Movies, that's where US&A shines. Except Top Gear, most TV programmes here suck big time. Let's not even talk about the weirdness that you see on Continental Europe/Asian TV channels

It's a nice mix actually.
