i did that once in in maui, on the south beach, but out of season, so solid 14 foot waves
But I didnt have a boogeyboard, so I went body boarding, you see how it rips all the water out infront of the wave? I fell off the lip of the wave and landed on the sand on my neck and then got hit by the wave
