I know nothing about this stuff really, but this quarter two of my roomates are all into working out and the "health and fitness" thing, and that is what they were saying. I think they usually have the protein shake before the work out, and were laughing at commercials for kids bars that had "extra protein" because basically any protein you don't burn right off is just converted to fat, so it was just a product to make lazy kids fatter.
