Right, I just bought my wee brother's pc off him (Sir Schmoopy in case you were wondering, yes we are brothers, feel free to pm me if you want him happy slapped, it's happened before so I'm more than happy to do it again, but I digress).

He didn't use iTunes for some inane reason, so I went to install it, I downloaded iTunes installer but when I go to install it it gets a little way through it and then says

Any thoughts on what to do? I tried downloading the installer again, and I tried downloading quicktime on it's own but to no avail

go to C:\windows installer\ and delete all itunes related files. If that doesn't work, try installing in safe mode.

oh and slap him from me please

While i clicked my fav'rite bookmark, suddenly there came a warning, and my heart was filled with mourning, mourning for my dear amour, " 'Tis not possible!", i muttered, " give me back my free hardcore!"..... quoth the server, 404.

You bought that piece of junk? Please tell me you didn't pay more than £20 for it...
The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP
