Desert map? Duh?

Spearhead: Gulf coast redneck hippy; +731|7112|Tampa Bay Florida

Anyone else up for a completely desolate desert map? I mean, the MEC is supposed to be in Iraq/Iran and other neighboring countries, right? They should make a desert map with airfields and extra tanks and other vehicles, along with trench systems and bunkers for dug-in infantry. Maybe make it kind of like Op. Battleaxe from 1942? I was just thinking it'd be kinda cool. Aircraft could provide long range support while armored vehicles do most of the fighting with infantry for support of the armored vehicles. It'd also be a fun sniper map, with little hiding spots and wide open areas. (Kind of like the finale in Jarhead?)

Thoughts?

battleaxe was one of my favorite maps. maybe remake it, abit bigger and less perfectly parallel/symetical (whatever).

Armoured Fury will have huge tank battles - eta March
but what about Kubra, Dragon Valley, Daqing? they all have huge armoured battles - why i love them

But Armored Fury will only include maps in USA, what about the Arabian Peninsula? Or El Alamein ya that might be better... maybe have a cross between El Alamein and Battleaxe
