I also have a RADEON X700 series version 6.14.10.6652 video card as well, according to steam it is outdated.

X700? Shit man, I have an X1300 and it's complete shit, how the hell do you play BF2, comfortably? I tried Far Cry 2 with this card, I got ~10FPS on all medium settings.

But I have a 9800GT in the mail; on it's way from NewEgg as I type. I'm fucking pumped, I can't wait to achieve over 20FPS on high in any game..

(Also a StealthXStream 600W PSU, but that's less exciting...)

Really? Strange, I used to have bf2 and bf2142 on medium settings and they runned fine for awhile. Now I have them on low because I have much more stuff installed and they tended to lag a little bit especially when I was in the Titan. I don't have bf2 installed anymore just to let you know it did run nice.

Well, I run ~30FPS on medium w/out Dynamic Shadows w/ my current card, I suppose it's fine. I prefer the BF2 eye candy, maxed settings and 60+ FPS...
