I used to use ChatZilla, but it's broken with FF3.03. I'm currently running mIRC with NNS, but I just don't like it. Say what you want, I don't like it.

I want a client that can be nicely placed to the right of my browser, with white background and black text. No more, no less.

The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP

- highlights
- scripts
- good support for IRC commands
- proper handling of 2+ networks connected at the same time (In opera you can only save one and have to manually connect to the other every time)
- automatic reconnect / rejoin (or a script for them)

To name a few. But I said it is good for regular users. It's just not awesome.

I'm pretty sure it is '/msg username comment' - some clients will determine this as PM and open it in a private window, others will add it to the main screen but only they can see it (eg *>yourname: comment that you wrote above)
