Gaming Keyboard Help

I plan on buying a new keyboard this weekend, and I've come down to 3 choices that fall within my price range:

-Logitech G11
-Microsoft SideWinder X6
-Microsoft Reclusa http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a … 20keyboard

Naturally, I'm looking for macro keys, but I'm more specifically looking for keys that can launch programs. I'm not sure if the last 2 (the Microsoft ones) can do that. The only negative of the G11 is it's size, and I have limited space.

If any one has these keyboards please tell me what you think about them and whether or not they can launch programs using macros.

Also, if anyone has the Sidewinder please tell me how the "gamer modes" work and how the switchable keypad works.

Side note: if the G15 V2 is THAT much better I am willing to spend the extra 20-30 dollars. I'm not sure if I'll use the screen much.

QFT. I got the G15 over the G11 and I haven't regretted it at all, a great keyboard. Plus, it's on of the few keyboards that isn't blue, although is cool, orange is pretty epic as well.

Comes with six actual macro keys, but three "tiers" of available macro keys, thus equaling 18 total keys. (For M1 you have 6 keys to macro commands, for M2 you have 6 keys to macro commands too, etc.)

I'm scared shit less as to what I would do if it shits the bed, but an Admin on the logi site hinted to a new keyboard in development.

Yeah, when I first discovered the G15, I totally went apeshit, it's so . Then I realized that the V2 is orange, and orange LED's look like CRAP imho(Especially on the screen) So yeah, eBay had some V1 G15's a couple months ago, check thar.

Of the listed keyboards, I've only used a Reclusa.

It's ok. Nice build quality. Has Razor technology. And blue glowyness. But, one of the macro buttons on the left/right sides seemed a little loose.

I just bought the Sidewinder X6 last week, and it's fucking great. Get's getting used to (for me) cos it's my first gaming keyboard, but I love it. Changeable backlight (Brightness contro) is awesome. And the macro keys can launch programs as well as other things.

Plus the numpad can become a whole macro pad and moved next to WASD

Go for it.

You have to believe me when i say that the difference between the normal zboard and the merc is huge, the merc has ALL the mods made by the company and a really well laid out gamepad that you just adapt to within about 10 minutes and just saves masses of time.

It just works right and feels natural to use.

the merc is awsm, but when I got my Zboard the merc wast even out yet I think.
