Depends on what films they show on the flight, when i went earlier this year i had some great films

You kill me (very dark action/mafia based comedy)
no country for old men
In the valley of Elai (i think its called that, but i'm not sure. Either way its a good film)
and a load of other good ones.

Things you should watch

Platoon
full metal jacket
12 monkeys
Lock stock and two smoking barrels (though your laughter may annoy others)
I can't think of any more good examples from my dvd collection lol.

EDIT: Yep, shooters a good film too.

my words! strongly agree

Dont look at the new ones they both had their great time in the 90s If you choose Van Damme try to get a hold on "Inferno Desert Heat" awesome movie the laughs are hard and comes often its stuffed with action too i promise ( karate kid does a small role )

For Seagal if its your first time i would recommend starting out with Nico then theres Hard to Kill, On Deadly Ground, Out for Justice, Siege gaah i can go on forever.

Dolph Lundgren has made some pretty watchable movies as well Joshua Tree comes to my mind.

Cobra with Stallone is candy too.

Are you fucking shitting me?

If you want to laugh at the utter stupidity of the action movies, then go watch Van Damme or Steven Seagal bullshit.
And whoever suggests Hitman, should go die somewhere ( yes, I am looking at you Bradt3hleader ).

Go watch :
Face Off, Identity, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, Lucky Number Slevin, Munich, Leon - The professional, Se7en, Smokin' Aces ( it's average, real average ), Street Kings, Tears of the Sun, Taken.

Trust me. I do not disappoint.

To many to list @ Zimmer i do honestly enjoy Seagal and Van Damme i also enjoy the movies you listed but true action ( for me ) should be simple and mindless and no one is close to deliver that the way those guys are. I dont sit down and pretends im gonna see any descent dialgoue i want fun and they deliver.

Then it's not a movie. It's a series of fast moving slides with stupid large men on them.

Shooter.

The ridiculous amounts of "Yeah right, like that's possible." moments just make it awesome.

I hope you're honestly kidding. It was hilariously bad.

I actually shouted "LOL" in the cinema just before the woman opened the box.

Shooter is a very average movie, but it's a fun action flick to watch once. Especially with Wahlberg.
