PSP's are awesome, whereas Wii's are gimicky and shit. They're fun for the first couple of weeks, then they just sit unused in a corner.
I don't like Wii's - whereas the PSP is one of the most awesomely versatile bits of kit you can pick up for next to no money (mine was £70 with a 4GB memory stick - and that was nearly 2 years ago). PSP's (once they have custom firmware on) are astonishingly good. If you haven't spent a good deal of time using one, then you may find it hard to understand, but they are amazing (and have a great selection of games from a wide range of genres (and platforms - when you consider all the emulation potential)).
Most of that list seems fairly accurate - although what the fuck are multiply and paint.net - they look shite.
But Wii's are gimicky fun! Sure, I only play it every so often, but still... What do you actually do with the PSP though? Handheld games (with the exception of Pokemon when I was 9) don't appeal to me in the slightest. The games also seem pretty pricey when I see them in game stores, for what they are.
What do you do with the PSP?
I play loads of games on it mostly. I currently have God of War, Patapon, FFVII:CC, Doom, Every good SNES game, a load of Neo-Geo and CPS2 games and PES 6 (on disk) in my PSP. That's a lot of great games to have in a single portable unit you can easily take anywhere. The range of games available is vast and many of the PSP only games (like Patapon) are great fun.
Games are not remotely pricey for them. I don't know where you're getting that idea from. They're cheaper than for any other platform, apart from the DS which has very simillarly priced games (about £20 new on release). The most I've ever spent on a PSP game is £8. In fact I've spent less than £100 on the PSP, memory stick, games (some of my games are perhaps not entirely legally obtained) and car charger.
