Good news for Honda...is it really Honda anymore?  I know about the factory support for 2009; but if the team are to run Mercedes engines...and its really just a sorta Honda chassis...is it really Honda anymore?
article here:

Brawn Sport...not bad really.

Seems Ross and Nick Fry, along with 3 other team directors (Brawn and Fry retain equal shares in the new team) have put thier money somewhat close to where thier mouth is.

I know Ross Brawn can get it done, he's proven that imo.

I think its good news for them, F1 and F1 fans...I was thrilled to hear it.

off to Jerez to test they are

F1 is being hit as hard as rally with this recession. Major sponsors are dropping out left right and centre and even with the new requirements it is costing the teams a fortune.

I really, really hope it can make it out without drastic changes.

Great news for Brawn Sport Really nice to see more than one Brit remain on the grid for 2009

McLaren-Mercedes are making a mint from giving out their engines, eh? First Force India are going to use Mercedes-powered engines, now Brawn Sport

Honda are back in. Well it seems. I don't know how they're gonna develop a car in time for the Aussie race. We'll just have to see what happens. Good to see they're not totally gone and dusted, though.

The former Honda team have been saved and will race in Formula One in 2009, according to chief executive Nick Fry.

I think only Toro Rosso is left, and then maybe Honda we'll see what happens with that.

wait how the fuck did they build a car so quickly

I like it though, does that green bit that looks like glow-in-the-dark material, does it glow in the dark?

The STR4 has been based on the RB5 but been modified slightly to hold their Ferrari V8 engine that the Toro Rosso holds.

I know it's just testing, but the BrawnGP car is looking nice.  Alonso, important people at Ferrari, and the man Massa himself seem to be concerned.
Even going so far as to call Brawn a contender.
Would'nt that be cool?

I'm sure most, if not all have read these articles, but here are the links anyway:

Personaly, I freekin' love it.  Imo, Ross Brawn is the man, and with Rubens experience (although, I truly feel he needs to give it up) plus the fact they have worked togeather before ( I'm not slighting Jenson here, wanna make that clear...), Plus Honda basicly handing them a 90% developed car...
BrawnGP just might be hard to handle this year.  At least, I'd love to see them make a race out of it.

McLaren were WELL off the pace in Barcelona and have even confirmed that they've encountered problems with their aerodynamic package. They have one last pre-season test at Jerez before they head off to Melbourne. 'Unlikely' that they will be competitive for the opener at Melbourne.

Don't forget, Honda did halt their 2008 charge early on to focus on their 2009 car. When they became BrawnGP, all of the technical stuff from Honda's 2008 plans were implemented for this year's car. That's why BrawnGP have sent shockwaves throughout the F1 teams.

I know a woman (irl just to be clear) that claims Mallya is a fookin' crook.  She knows him personaly, went to school in India years ago with his nephews, spent time around Vjay...seems to be quite the asshole.

One persons opinion anyway.
Don't mean to be judgemental, as I don't know him myself...I'm just sayin' hehe
