100kb/s is pissing me off
Nope, been getting the usual 500-800kb/s for this time of day.
No.
The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP
around 500 kb/s for me right now downloading a 100 mb file
must be your internets

Yes, RS has been going slow for me. Probably because my premium account expired on Thursday.
Mine on Friday so I use alternate sources to download pornphishman420 wrote:

It's even worse when your ISP limits you to 60GB of bandwidth per month.Jenspm wrote:
would take quite a few days with Rapidshares gay regulations.Kurazoo wrote:

have a cry all of you, max i can get is 40kbps on a good day
lol @ RS
Probably the worst uploading/Downloading service ever created. Yeah, worse then MegaUpload.
TBH, FileFront, MediaFire, Upload.net, and many of the "smaller" upload sites are made of pure win, just because of less bandwidth being used. The more commercial a service, the more limits and adverts they use.
(FileFront has ads, but it's still free, unlimited space with no speed limiters.)

Are you using Sam's account or are you going free, cuz if the latter then it's capped at 100.
Free RS is capped at 100. Sam's account isn't..Sup wrote:
How can it be capped? I'm often downloading with almost full speed.DoctaStrangelove wrote:

MegaUpload is good if you have a premium account, but there aren't too many files there.
FileFront is slower, and won't let you use a download accelerator. And like all the others you listed, it has very few files.
Netload is pretty good though.
The only thing that beats Rapidshare is Usenet.
Use Internet Download Manager, I get like 700-800KB/s with that, good stuff.
Downloading at 125kbp/s atm. Explain this.DoctaStrangelove wrote:
