It's and RPG with FPS elements mixed in. Trust me, if you're sketchy about it, just forget your worries and get it. I'd never played a real RPG before and I LOVE it.

Halo 3 is the only Halo that was made for the 360, so...

And for good MP, go for Gears 2 or Halo 3. Huge online communities.

Get GTA IV instead of Timeshift. I haven't heard too many good things about it.

I'd also be careful of Mirror's Edge...I hear the storyline is VERY short.

Honestly? I refuse to buy any GTA. I have timeshift on my computer. It just cant run it too well. I thought it was fun tho.

GTA San Andreas and Vice City were two of the best games of all time...and GTA IV is pretty damn good as well.

Hahaha, there's just a cliche air about it. Everyone plays it but it looks stupid. Not to mention thats just not the type of game i like.

pick something else instead of timeshift. because timeshift was alright but there are quite a few better shooters than timeshift.

I've been playing it on my 32" Sharp Aquos LCD TV via HDMI on my PS3 (720p) and it looks fantastic...so I don't know what you're on about.

  • BF:BC is pretty good.
  • Never played Timeshift but it does look interesting.
  • Halo imo is very overrated. If you like CoD, I suggest just get that, it's a lot more fun than Halo.
  • Orange Box - Get this on PC for sure, it doesn't need a too demanding PC, if you run BF2, you should be able to run orange box. I'm sure there's a much bigger community on Steam for PC and of course with Orange Box, you get custom maps and mods.
  • Fallout 3 - This one probably needs a demanding PC so you might look into it for 360. I have it and am actually not that interested in it. There's too much running around and the shooting in it is meh.
  • Mirror's Edge - A great game, but definately rent it. I beat the game in two days playing it, out of actually gameplay, I probably beat it in like 5-6 hours. Don't waste your money buying it.


I would only suggest GoW2. I don't have a 360, just a PS3, but I played GoW2 at my friend's house and it's the only game I wish was also on PS3 because it's amazing.

Is it the best looking game out there? Of course not, it's an open world sandbox game. Is it still damn good looking? You can bet your ass it is.

lol what the fuck is the first picture of? A gta 4 mod for SA? it looks terrible. anyways GTA IV and H3 both have good visuals. I wouldn't recommend gta 4 though, it doesn't feel like 3 or SA. I've borrowed it from a friend and have been playing it recently. Having people call you all the time is a bit of a chore and the whole phone- "hey lets hang out" system is kinda sims-ish, and can get annoying when you're trying to complete a mission or want to hang out with someone else but that's all there really is against it. The graphics are at an unneeded level. You'll be too busy concentrating on the road or your crosshair. (or subtitles when you talk to the Jamaican people lol) sometimes I actually feel bad that there must be a lot of detail unseen by players and ignored. However, if you're looking for something that can last you a while it looks like it's story can be very time-consuming, and it never really gets to the point of boring. On the halo 3 side, I'd only recommend it if you're a fan of the halo series and have friends to play online with on it. The single player campaign is good.
