this site says that to get a SAS service ribbon, you need to play as them for more than5 hours. Ive done this for SAS, SEALS and Spetznatz but i still dont get the ribbons. Any help?

Me2 (SAS), I read somewhere they are other hidden things you need to do. I believe wiki is going to update the requirments as soon as they are confirmed.
also u need like 90 wins as the team, and played the maps for certain hours
the requirements are
5 hours played as that army
50 hours in theatre
5 hours played as that army
50 hours in theatre

50hrs in theater is the correct number, I got mine at it. And testing this theory with my insurgent ribbon now.
I don't care what they say, I have 40 somthing hours EACH for both SAS and SPETZ when I got it. Thats more that 50...

you only need 5 as the army.
