Cheers Switch - I know you'll know the buzz.

You'll hear his song if you watch.  Huge away restrictions as I'm sure you'll appriciate but even though it'll be us you hear the loudest.

Yep, yep. I get the principle and the matter at hand.

I think you need to be distinctly Welsh and raised in Cardiff / Swansea and their surrounding areas to 'get' the rivalry though. It's like the derby in Scotland... to outsiders it just seems like a pointless example of sectarianism violence pervading into decent sport. I'm sure there's a long history and folklore justification for it all, pretty entertaining to read about and watch! I'm glad that polo and rowing are more civilized, though!

Protip: Above may not be entirely serious.

Lol, my house-mate is a swansea fan. He's going home to go to the game.
They're missing all their key players. Bodde, Gomez n some others, so Cardiff shud have the upper hand.

Bennis you must live in dire surroundings.  His room must smell of piss and heather.  He must come and go all hours of the night as he tarmac's local drives and pathways.  He must be summat of a local hero back in the Mumbles when he was one of the lucky ones who escaped The Pretty Shitty City, poor bastard feels the need to go back.  I'm jealous he has a ticket, I'm not allowed to go (severve ticket restrictions) but will be at the return fixture for sure.

The only one player of theirs I feared is missing Bodde.

Pah, football.

I'll be interested to watch the fights though, nothing as satisfying as watching a bunch of chavs kick the shit out of each other. If I cared, I'd support Cardiff, as I lived there for 3 years, and know what a complete shithole Swansea is compared to it.

Hahahahaha.

One of my friends from back at school went to Swansea University to do Marketing Advertising or something whack like that, suffice to say many lulz were had at his expense. Judging from the Welsh perspective, I imagine you Cardiff guys find actually going to Swansea incomprehensible.

I only go down West when I have to play hockey there and even in that we fucking hate each other, more than all the teams in the leagues we have more fights with them than anyone else, its always like a smouldering pot waiting to boil over and I dont even play for a Cardiff team, but from the surrounding area.

Cardiff have no problem with Wrexham, neither have Swansea really, we do have a problem with Newport but only if we are playing them other than that they all support us anyway.  Some of our best riots were with Hereford back in the late 80's.  I have worn my football shirt down there working one day and I'm not a hoolie yet got screamed at in the high street middle of the day, not just by blokes.  They carry the Union Jack and sing all the 'No Surrender' shit and they don't even know why. They are racists and heavly involved within the BNP (I Think).

The mental thing is, they'll stand and sing next to you when watching Wales and try and fight you as soon as you leave the stadium on the way out.  Wales fans don't fight much if at all but Cardiff and Swansea use it for mini get together's.

The two Dundee grounds are mad.  They almost touch each other yet these boys don't kick off like you'd expect them to.

Danny Dyer loves Propa Nawwty boys where its all gonna kick off in a mo

I've been to Hereford loads but have never noticed any BNP or racist stuff there. It wouldn't surprise me though, it's that sorta place.

Nah I ment Swansea full of BNP. Hereford's full of squaddies and not the best place for hoolies to start trouble but they used to.

Ahh, yes the stereotype of Hereford being full of SAS Commando's is far more on the mark . Every lonely soul at a bar in Hereford has seen action in 3 different theaters of SAS deployment! Haha.

Indeed, then just up the road you have GCHQ Cheltenham- where everyone is a secret agent that could tell you what they do for a living, but then they'd have to kill you .

Gotta love some parts of the West-Country / Gloucestershire & Herefordshire!

I look forward to the Severn Derbies aswell when we get to play Brizzle Shitty.  They got Trundle and he is a cunt of the highest order.  He went from our main rivals to our not so main rivals.  Mind you most people hate us, they are all our rivals really.

For once I dont think we'll be singing 'Ingurland is full of shit'.  Why they do is beyond me? The officials are English and so is half our team. Duhhhhh

It's like racism in the stands of football clubs where more than half the players are international transfers.

They keep your team afloat... durhhhh!
