i shave in the shower with soap and no mirror. you don't need that shit but to each their own
It seems to depend a lot on your skin. I can shave most of my face fine, but under my chin it really irritates the skin. A friend said he'd had much better results using that stuff so I've decided it's worth a shot. I didn't pay anything close to full retail, which helped.

i have a styled beard right now, but i manage with a gillette proglide, gillette foamy shaving cream and gillette aftershave, as well as a braun trimmer

i use the electric proglide with gillette shave cream and nivea after shave balm. but i only shave once every week or two, usually just let it go untamed recently.
I've been using that sort of system for a while. Time-consuming, but feels good. You've gotta get the consistency of your soap foam just right, though, else it will hurt.
I like pie.
At 0500h I really cannot find the motivation to do anything more than run an electric shaver over my face for 30 seconds.
