Is that the best resolution I'm going to find?

Are they all that thick?

I find digital frames useless! too much?
Why should I pay (power) to show pictures?
Now if it runs on solar power, thats something else.

I can't seem to find really thin ones with high resolution...

Use an old laptop lolololol.

For anyone that'd broken and had to replace an LCD panel in a laptop, you realize how thin it actually is, something like 1/8th inch.

Problem is is that you need the Controller for the panel to work, and that's strapped on a 2" Ribbon cable, and from there oyu have 2 more inches to the laptop motherboard.

I would love to someday take it apart, expend the signal cable from the laptop, hide it behind the shelf and just set the 1/8th inch panel on the table, but extending the ribbon will probably result in signal loss and a non-working panel.
