So I just downloaded a few applications from iTunes, and I clicked sync in iTunes, but none of my apps transfered to my iPod. I restarted iTunes and synced again, nothing happened. What am I doing wrong? I have the most up to date versions of firmware and iTunes.
I've only downloaded apps on to my actual iPod. Try that?

When your ipod is on the sidebar on the right click on it and click on the last tab at the top that says applications and check off the ones you want on the list there
Purchase apps on your actual iTouch with Wi-Fi.
Much easier.
iTunes never worked with apps for my iPhone, But downloading them straight to your iTouch from the appstore does work.
Also make sure your using firmware 2.1+.

That's what I had to do.
Apple still needs to work out some of the kinks with the App store.
