Hi,

I`m new to this forum and I`ve got a question....

I don`t really know how the unlock system works....

Some people say you get one unlock extra for each rank
you got in "normal" battlefield.

I got SF and I`m wondering why I got just one extra unlock
although I have around 3000 points. (I`m Seargent now.)

I took the L85a1, g3 and the m95 in exactly that order...
Then I got my extra unlock and took the F2000.
Is that normal ?
I thought I get 3 unlocks?

Or is it maybe a problem with the account servers?

Please write back fast I´m thinking of creating a new account...

you probably just got the rank so it gave you two unlocks for that? If not just give it time my account unlocked randomly and gave me all my added unlocks

Me too, when I reached Sergeant rank I got two unlocks too. I think it's normal because player with 2nd Lieutenant have all unlocks...

thanks for the bf2s community first because it answers THAT fast...

I will wait a bit if something changes with my account...
But there was no change since 2 days I think my 2 unlocks are still lost.
If someone here had similiar problems it would be nice if he writes here...

If I'm reading this correctly (and your English is fine), you're asking why you've only received the extra "Special Forces" unlock now that you've reached Sergeant? if you check out the wiki page for the unlocks, you'll see that there are two more unlocks for regular BF2 then there are for Special Forces. So I think they delayed the extra unlocks until you reach Sergeant. Then I think this means that you will get two unlocks for each rank you achieve after Sergeant.

you only get sf unlocks for sgt or higher. this is cause theres only 5 sf unlocks instead of 7

thanks to all who answered that fast ....

I know undestand:

you normally get 2 unlocks for each rank,
but not for the first (lance corporal) and for the
second (corporal) because there are 2 unlocks missing in sf
the at unlock and the sniper unlock.

right?

Oh well that makes sense too, when I got BFSF it took a coupld of days to get my unlocks and they popped up in the middle of the game. But then again I'm a Gunnery Sgt.

I think i will write a little summary for all who didn`t really understand the unlock system:

private = no unlock
private first class = no unlock
lance corporal = 1 unlock
corporal = 1 unlock
seargent = 1unlock + 1 extra unlock if you have got SF
staff seargent = 1unlock + 1 extra unlock if you have got SF
gunnery seargent = 1unlock + 1 extra unlock if you have got SF
master seargent = 1unlock + 1 extra unlock if you have got SF
master gunnery seargent = 1unlock + 1 extra unlock if you have got SF

what if you get to gunnery sargeant and then install SF? will the past unlocks come to you?
