It'll do, but watch out, MSI is very low quality.
The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP

MSI Failure - 2,740,000 hits.
ASUS Failure - 742,000 hits.

I'll let the numbers do the talking.

Asus is pretty unique, whereas "MSI" covers a whole lot of things, including about a billion hits for .msi Microsoft Installer files.

No matter, MSI is cheap.

You need to move away from that island.

That was 18 months ago.

For todays reference, I can get a GTX260 for $426. But that's because the economy is fucked, $1 is 118 ISK now, while $1 was 60ISK last year.

Tha fuck?

Anyway, this is the perfect time for foreigners to visit Iceland, since foreign currency is extremely strong compared to our currency right now. Like, double value.

I have an MSI K9A Platinum mobo, and it has never given me any sort of problem. Plus I dare you to find a better AM2 mobo that supports crossfire.
