which game to buy?

I am not sure if it is ok to post this here since games are software but here goes.

I am going into town and planning on buying a new game, not to replace BF2 because I will always love and continue to play BF2 till the day I die.

I am choosing between GTA IV for pc or Left 4 Dead for PC

I have heard a lot of bad things about GTA 4, low frame rates and crashing ect but I think that is mostly for people with ATI cards.

what game would you guys buy?
is there a better game out there other than the two I mentioned?

I dont have COD 4 or COD 5 yet.

yeah thats what I think I am going to get

I dont really need another war based fps because I still love BF2

although COD 5 looks sweet and I do want GTA 4 but I think i will wait till they fix the frames issue

COD 5 is ok.
Its basically a cod4 ww2 mod.
As usually people will be running and jumping and spraying with the ppsh and you will find only 1 person out of 16 who uses bolt action rifles...

I did not know that COD 5 was a ww2 mod of cod 4, thanx for letting me know

I like ww2 shooters but if I wanna play one I will just play the FH2 mod for BF2, its pretty sweet,

I am looking for somthing different to balance my gameplay out.

it will be left 4 dead now and then GTA 4 when they fix all the issues they are having

You will need a 1GB gfx card and oced cpu to be able to play GTA4 on medium/high.

yeah i read that about that game too, Rockstar says they made the game future proof by making it impossible to run it on the highest settings because that tech is not avail yet.

that makes zero sense to me.

Left 4 dead will give me a good balance of gameplay and when I build my new system in 2 or 3 months I will buy GTA 4 then
