I work retail, I sell shoes, so I get to hoof it 5 days per week. I've used a pedometer to check, and it's between 6-10 miles per day.

6 miles on a slow day, 10+ on a busy day like today. Also part of our stock room is upstairs, I climb the stairs 20-30 times on slow days, 40-50+ on busy days.

I'm naturally skinny, but I do work in a warehouse basically doing manual labor, I say that's my workout. So here's my "workout"

Sunday - work 12-5
Monday - work 3-8
Wednesday - hockey 6:30am-7:30, work 3-8
Thursday - work 3-8
Saturday - work 9-5

I'm losing my weekday hours during my spring semester in college which sucks, I may have to start working out a little. Should just look for a new job though, it's going to suck just working weekends.

Some people cannot gain weight no matter what they do. You are obviously different, gaining 20lb's in a few weeks is something some people wouldn't dare dream of. If I'l lucky I'll gain 20lb's in a year... I gain maybe 1 pound every 3-4 weeks, this is with exercising every weekday from 9-4, drinking a weight gain shake, eating loads of carbs and gyming it on weekends...


I could sit here and eat food all week and not move. I would not gain anything.

I am an extreme ectomorph.. (the body type that simon said) which of course is word for word from http://www.bodybuildingpro.com/bodytypeinformation.html

but anyways about a year ago i was 5'10 130 pounds... thats fucking skinny. I ate like shit and never gained weight... i changed my diet up.. boosted it to about 4000 calories + a day (of good food, no cheat meals) and a shit load of protein (220+ grams) which for my bodyweight of a current 165 is more than sufficient. Also upped the carbs of course to god knows wat, i would assume around 400+ grams a day. so over a year i have gained 35 pounds of almost all muscle, it was damn hard but YOU can do it. 35 pounds may not sound like much... but i have stayed lean and quite ripped the whole time, meaning i have added almost no fat, and that is definitaly not easy to do. P.s. im only sixteen, so my metabolism is naturally high as shit too, making it all the harder.

so put your mind to it.. and you can do it!!

I train pretty hard. Six days a week, mostly free weights. I eat clean and take supps.. Mix light cardio and I referee sports..

I consider my self to be pretty muscular. I've been trainig. For ten months after takin about three years off.

I think I might start crossfit. I found a good CF gym with a membership fee only slightly higher than my current gym's (and you actually get to go to CF training classes 3x a week... it's included in the membership). The only problem is that it's a bit far away, e.g. 45 minutes by metro. Only 20 minutes by driving but nooooo, I have to wait 2 months before I can even get a license to drive on my own.

I go to the gym about 3 times a week, made quite a bit of muscle in comparison to how skinny I was when I first joined. Thing is though my actual weight doesn't change but a lot of people say I look bigger. Weird I'm not to fussed about what the scale says just what the mirror shows.
