oh, any ideas what they will cost ? im hoping around £150 for the 920 version.........
the most expensive quad core i5 might be around $200 but the pricing is yet to be announced. Core i5 will use different socket than i7, a LGA1160 aka Socket H1. It will also have different bus architechture (cheaper DMI in i5 vs QPI in i7) and will support only dual channel DDR3 vs triple-channel on i7.twoblacklines wrote:

Rumors are talking about Q3 2009 but I wouldn't be surprised if it is launched a bit earlier.
