the most expensive quad core i5 might be around $200 but the pricing is yet to be announced. Core i5 will use different socket than i7, a LGA1160 aka Socket H1. It will also have different bus architechture (cheaper DMI in i5 vs QPI in i7) and will support only dual channel DDR3 vs triple-channel on i7.twoblacklines wrote:
