Hi,

I've no earned 6x a purple heart in game, but only get the very first displayed..... not to say that this is a glory....!! but... seems to be a bug!

Vengeance, did you work for your Purple Heart or did it just happen when you were having a bad day or when you sucked?

I got mine doing a blackhawk on a lowly populated 64 player Dragon Valley server. (pre 1.03) I ended the round with 316 points (yay) but a sucky k/d ratio

I never gotten this medal and don't plan to either lol.Im a horrible BF2 player but not bad enough to get a purple heart.Usually if I start dying a lot then I stop playing because Im anal about my K ratio heh.

I got it about 3 days after I got the game (I think it was my 2nd or 3rd medal) and I was SO happy.

I then found this site about a week later, and saw it was a horrible award to win.

I got one on my first day. I thought it was a good medal and i was like "i got a purple heart" to my frend and he started laughing and told me how newb the award was.

Lol my worst death streak is 13. Stupid medic kept reviving me while a friend on other side killed me. Got out after the 13th kill. I was pissed. Other than that ive never come close to a purple heart. Lol i would seriously have to work at getting killed to be awarded it. I could afford it though i have over 3k more kills than deaths.

oh i whole heartedly earned mine. first i went to the bar and had about 5 22oz. drafts. then i picked up a twelve pack on the way home. proceeded to have about 5-6 beers at home. somehow i thought it was gonna make me really good being so drunk that i was seeing double (or was it triple). well...it didn't work out as planned. when i got on the next day and saw the purple heart i just looked at it and said...DAMN WTF was i thinking last night.

I almost got mine when I was trying for Veteran Knife. I was one death away from it (4:19) but then killed three guys in one streak (one sniper, one guy passing me by without noticing me and one guy on the MG in a humvee). I earned Vet Knife with that humvee dude and was promoted to First Sergeant later that round.

i have counted how many purple hearts i have gotten i thinks its up to 10. not that proud but hey i still am a pretty good player i just get killed alot. when i say alot i mean on aveage 25 times a game. but kill almost the same amount. but any way ya i get alot of purple hearts.

hmmm i should have 2, but it only shows 1, and the easiest way to get it is to medic whore on a 64 player karkand and not give a sh*t about your k/d but always have your paddles out... think i ended up witth 5kills, 21deaths, 38revives, and somthing around 15 heals... and a couple more team points cause i ended up on 128 points and the gold.

Yeah, I had that happen to me once too - was sucking along very nicely and got the award on screen.. and then I scored another six kills in a row. I figured I'd just cheated myself out of the badge though.
