I'm personally waiting for GT300 which is rumored to replace this beats in Q1 2009 (just like GTX 280 replaced 9800GX2).
Still, its a freaking fast card. And no doubt the most expensive as well.

Being 15 higher than the 280 I would think its either a jump in clock speeds or a jump in bit rate and memory like 750bit and 1.5gbMekstizzle wrote:

It's two GTX 260s on the 55nm process. Also, rather than 216SP, it has 240 per core (like the 280), x2. Everything else (except the cooler) are the same. Just double it up.Mekstizzle wrote:

No, but it does make your argument irrelevant.Freezer7Pro wrote:

How so, name me a game that stutters on 8800GT. (Crysis and GTAIV don't count because they are unoptimized pieces of shit)ghettoperson wrote:

Irrelevant, it runs fine on 8800GT if CPU is powerful enough.Sydney wrote:

I love AA+AF... I can bring a 8800 series card to its knees even at resolution 1280x1024....DeathUnlimited wrote:

I can't stand no AA, I always use 8x or 16x and I haven't been able to put any game I play on it's knees, even that I play @ 1600x1200GC_PaNzerFIN wrote:

My monitor has such high pixel density, that I can even make it without AA, if I have toDeathUnlimited wrote:

I do prefer at least 4X.
