This. The average monitor displays at 60Hz, which means your monitor refreshes the picture 60 times in a second, which means that of your 250fps in COD4, you only get to see 60 of these frames.
i wasn't actually on about the game cod4Finray wrote:

If you have a CRT that might be the reason why you cannot see it

I have disabled the low and high settings and boosted the normal to 1600dpi and adjusted game and OS sensitivity after that..
if you don't do it like that you are just wasting money

You obviously have not used a quality CRT.FloppY_ wrote:

Let alone quality CRT's, most CRT's have better image quality than LCD, some good CRT's can do 1080p almost twice, on a 19" screen, the pixels are so small the quality looks astonishing, but everyone's got an LCD now, because they're thinner, longer lasting, good quality screen, not bad on eyes, cheap now etc etcDeathUnlimited wrote:

utfg -> v-sync utfg -> lcd refresh rate and maybe than u will understand that exactly at refreshRate*lines (e.g. 75*1024) fps you will have every new line displayed on your lcd with actual data, with time delay 1ms for generating+sending frame and x ms time delay for rise-time of each pixel to specific colorJoshP wrote:

You can only roll as fast as the game allows you, and if i can max it with 800 DPI why the fuck do you need 4000?

Why do that? I did it with my G9, but only because I cbf'd Alt+Tab to change it through the driver.FloppY_ wrote:

loltangent.
My state was founded by Batman. Your opinion is invalid.
Feels gay to me whenever I try to pilot heli's with a mouse... I've got 10 times more control over thrust and pitch with the keyboard.. that and I don't look like an idiot moving my mouse repeatedly all over my desk to make the damn thing keep rollingphishman420 wrote:

Your GFX card fan won't spin as fast. At least, when I lock mine down to ~60, it quiets down..Sup wrote:
