I use Trillian personally but I do have to use regular AIM sometimes.  The thing is, things like Trillian and Pidgin never work with audio or video chats, or sending files, and inviting people is a pain, etc.    I just wish it would work all around, AIM is such a resource hogging application compared to Trillian, which uses practically nothing.
