I get the feeling that everbody's trying to get rid of the Silver XS's because on Boxing Day, Futureshop had a web-only deal, Canon XS + Mini Tripod
+ Camera bag, $450.

I paid 550 for JUST the XS(With lens) but it's black and totally worth the extra 100(not from an 'I know it didn't cost them that much' perspective though.)

But yeah, I'd recommend it to almost anybody that sorta knows how to hold an SLR
