Hi, I was wondering if anybody knows of any good music/beat/ryhthm based games, maybe something other than that one where you have to press the right button as they come along, if you know what I mean. Any help would be appreciated.

Audiosurf is kind of like that, going cheap at the moment on steam. Its great fun. Frets on fire is guitar hero with your keyboard, its hard and not as fun as audiosurf. It is free though.
Aren't all (or most) music/beat/rhythm games ones where you have to press the right button as they come along???
Otherwise I don't think it'd be one of those games...

There was a game I used to play on the playstation 1 with my children(At least i think it was ps1), I remember some guy had an afro and every time you got a beat it grew larger , does this ring any bells? Because I just cant remember the name.

It will make your face melt and your mind asploed.
Has to be played to be believed. It's what I imagine a crazy acid trip to be a bit like.
