Avast problem

Bell: Frosties > Cornflakes; +362|6814|UK

Trial of avast ran out, and I updated it last night. Running fine. Switched on today and it wont let me access the internet via AOL. That isnt so much of an issue as, trying to get rid of avast. When I do, it says:

When I try AOL, I get:

Tried a system restore, and it didnt help. And am not so well versed in registrys if someone could help me with that. Am ever so slightly hung over so maybe am missing something. Am going to try reinstall AOL, but, if anyone has any ideas please help me out

Do what it says. Run it from within safe mode

For the love of God, do not use the AOL browser...

I am on AOL and think it's fantastic, tbh.

But the Browser... Oh God, the pain...

Just set up your Internet Connection manually and use IE7 or Chrome, please.

To check your email, just have one of the tabs set to http://info.aol.co.uk/email/ as a homepage.

Also, Avast owns, nicely used.

I use Forefox myself and its brilliant. Its easy to use and i have never had problems with it
