Why were you at a service station for 3.5+ hours in the first place, crazy zimmerZimmer wrote:
Untrue. I was at a service station coming up from England and some stupid bitch had locked her baby in her brand new BMW 7series. She phoned up the BMW 24/7 thingy and this expert came along. It took him 3.5 hours to open the lock. Used several different methods, and it was hilarious watching him fuck up and letting the alarm go off.CrazeD wrote:

I don't find that surprising at all, tbh
No...but really...picking a lock with a coat hanger isn't exactly rocket science. You just stuff it down between the glass and door panel until you hit the lock lever, and then pull up. Easy.
But yeah, like someone said before. These days, Mechanics are a thing of the past. It's Auto Electrician nowadays
If I managed to lock my kid into the car I'd break a window to get it out.Zimmer wrote:

once upon a midnight dreary, while i pron surfed, weak and weary, over many a strange and spurious site of ' hot xxx galore'. While i clicked my fav'rite bookmark, suddenly there came a warning, and my heart was filled with mourning, mourning for my dear amour, " 'Tis not possible!", i muttered, " give me back my free hardcore!"..... quoth the server, 404.
Yeah, that's what I thought, but I don't think they are allowed them. I think it's illegal to have such a thing. Imagine what you could do if you had the master key of ferrari or whatever.KEN-JENNINGS wrote:

I remember when the electronics of the central lock on our E38 (7 series 1996–2001) managed to just sorta die and leave the car locked. Took the mechanics hours to get the car open to get to faulty component. Gotta love electronics ...

Onstar for the win! if i ever locked the keys in my Colorado I make a quick call to onstar and they can open it via satalite! if you are good you can open most cars with anything long enough to hit the power lock switch. it's even easier then the older cars were to get in.KEN-JENNINGS wrote:

You'd think with a car that expensive, they'd have the little key code thing on the door.Zimmer wrote:

That's how a tow truck driver opened my ranger. He did have a nifty little air bag to pry the door open a little then a metal rod to reack the lock switch. Much better than randomly digging inside the door an fucking it up.Christbane wrote:

can i get my forum name changed to Chedda pls?
Bua ha ha ha ha!
Can they even do that to a Rolls? Try to jimmy it? If they can, then the car isn't worth the money.

No, it's not easy lol. I lock my keys in my truck all the time (don't have power locks). It's hard to get the coat hanger straight, and when you finally get it hooked on the lock it slips off. The easiest way is to buy a thing called an air wedge, slip it through the door and pump it up with air until the door is about a half inch open, then get the lock with something more sturdy.CrazeD wrote:

Well, a coat hanger isn't a really good tool to do it with tbh.Runs_with_sciss0rs wrote:

The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP
I heard that he got like 400 million due to his deal with that vitamin water...Zimmer wrote:
He probably killed the first few guys that attempted it and couldn't do it.
"Late last week, the Coca-Cola Company announced it is buying Vitaminwater maker Glaceau for $4.1 billion in cash. 50 Cent, who has his own “Formula 50” flavor of Vitawater, cut a very savvy deal with the beverage-maker—instead of a cash payment for his endorsement he bought a stake in the company, reportedly about 10%. Now the hip-hop press isn’t always the most reliable when it comes to facts and figures, but if these numbers reported by AllHipHop prove to be true, then 50 stands to make about $400 million before the end of the year."
