I made all my exems in winter and even in spring. Then i got a girlfriend and we had a lot of fun and we made a lot of things in spring and summer. My summer was fantastic because i was a two week trip in west europe by car. I visited every single museum in Normandy and the famous D-Day landing areas. Took like 2500 pictures about the whole trip. I was also in Barcelona and Monaco, basicly we drove 6800 km in two weeks.
After arriving at home i was on an Iron Maiden concert what was just awsome! It was on the popular Sziget Festival in Budapest.
In september school and job started and things started to get bad so tehre are a lot of things what i have to do. But i will do them!
2009 will be the same. Intresting and full of fun as i will go to France and Spain in april and we will see the summer

I had a good year. Made good money. Watched my kid develop. Finished building and moved into my new house. Got new wheels. Got a new GF. Only real bad thing was watching a good friend finally loose her 2 year battle with cancer a week before Xmas. Leaving her wee boy.

2008 wasn't that bad, but was certainly better than 2007. Went through a lot of useful life experiences and have learned from my mistakes.
I'm hopeful for 2009...my aviation training will kick into full gear in the summer and I'll have my student pilot's license in May or June. Then, for next year's school year, I come in for one period of classes (Gym/Art, to fulfill credits I need) and then leave for flight school.
Plus, there's a VERY good chance I'll be enlisting this year in the USAF and then going in on the DEP.

2008 Hasn't been so bad
The US finally elected a President who appears to have the nation's interests at heart.
Duhbya is leaving office wearing the mantle of worst President in American history, deservedly so.
A big fat oil shock seems to have galvanised thinking about alternative energy systems.
My sister qualified as an accountant, so with luck I'll be able to sit back and sponge off her - having worked my butt off for the last ten years keeping the family afloat.
Hopefully the global slowdown will force me to get out of manufacturing and do something useful, that I might actually enjoy.

School trip to do a tour of the various WW1 battlefields and to do some other stuff, was funny because our WW1 battlefield guide had just left the tour so I took over for the Normandy beaches.
It's pretty amazing seeing the place now and knowing what happened back then.
