I would consider buying the Eclipse 2 if it wasnt for the Cyborg mouse scaring me away from ever purchasing Saitek again...
for starters the drivers made the mouse move by itself and shaking at random intervals...

As far as I'm concerned they're all pointless overpriced gimicks. The actual keyboard membrane on the G15 is the same as Logitech use on their low end keyboards, which cost 10-15x less. You can assign macros to keys on any keyboard and it seems a lot of money to pay for a gay little LCD and a few extra buttons.

£3 keyboard (at most), every time.

Flippy, you still have yet to tell me why you don't like the Cyborg keyboard. The mouse is fine, but this is a thread about keyboards. I personally intend on hunting down a Saitek Eclipse here. I need one with a German keyboad, though ... I know that Saitek makes German keyboards, though. Just a matter of finding the Eclipse line in German ...

You know, this is one of those days where I truly hate living in Austria. I cannot find a German Eclipse 3 for the life of me. I found what APPEARS to be a German Eclipse 2 on Amazon.at ... but I wonder ... I had to put a fucking G15 on my Windows 7 Build list as a place holder until I find a better (and hopefully cheaper) alternative.
