The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP
Game that I keep coming back to over and over again and have beaten dozens of times and spent hundreds of hours playing include:
the Metal Gear Solid series
the Ratchet & Clank series
FreQuency / Amplitude
GTA San Andreas
and before I installed XP x64 and haven't been able to reinstall it, Return to Castle Wolfenstein.
Probably not the answer you're looking for since it's not just one or two games, but I'm the kind of gamer who hardly buys many games, and plays the hell out of the games he does have.

In the past few weeks it has been COD4...
I have been feeling in the mood for some flying in BF1942 lately, which I am sure a quick round of will get rid off, since I probably remember it as beeing better than it really was

Your thoughts, insights, and musings on this matter intrigue me
Right now, like this week it's GTAIV. When I finish it I might install Fallout 3. But BF2 is still my favourite and most played game (baring these semi breaks).
Pirates of the Caribean
Company of Heroes
