That's not what im getting at. Sometimes I listen to music that doesnt have any messages or any lyrics for that matter, just straight beats sometimes. Lil Wayne makes good music but I'm saying there are certain artists that are entertaining to hear (T-Pain, Soulja Boy etc) at a party or on the radio in the car, but dont make decent lyrics or beats.

Unfortunatly you all missed proper rap music buy 10 years +.  Yeah you can still find it, buy it, download it but it means new quality stuff don't get released.  Im not a hardcore lover of it, but Biggy, Tupac and Jay-Z along with Busta Rhymes etc was all you needed to get bye.  Unfortunatly they all had this east/west coast thing which by the looks of it todays kids have learned from and dont have that violent divide.

Back in the day when gangsta rap wasn't about hittin' dat ass and skeet skeet skeeting all over the place (Whatt!? YEAH WHATT??), that shit was left to the joke acts like Sir Mixalot and Fat Boys.

..although "Baby Got Back" is the shit.

In other words, I think Lil' Wayne should experiment in sucking his own peenaas (I did not realize he had been around for so long, though. So props to him for that).

Sidenote: Damn, even Busta is shit nowadays.
