Ok well i was loading up for another game and when i clicked join it crashed to the desktop b/c well i guess the server was too much for my computer. No problem, restarted my computer closed all background task and put the CD back in. And nothing comes up, so i click the icon and then this bubble appears on the lower right taskbar and says a bunch of jibberish and says something about Local Key and stuff like that and says use ChkDsk. I'm currently re-installing it but i'm still worried it may happen again.
Have you searched your computer for malware using ad-aware/spybot/ewido?

You probably didn't need to reinstall, in most cases deleting your profile (but saving it in case you have some custom keybinds) and creating a new one fixes the problem.
yeah i reinstalled it and m computer did the whole chkdsk and deleted some mysterious files but all is well. thanks for the input tho
