Hi all,

Well I've played BF2 again for a couple of weeks, 3 to be exact, which is how long the bastards at Uni give me for my Christmas Holiday... I didn't have time to make a movie, in fact, I've only just started to get into it again; 8 months is a long time to be out. I wipped on FRAPS the other night whilst playing and was messing about with some of the shots I liked on Vegas:

I tried slow-mo'ing the 'drag' whilst keeping the pre/after shot footage at full speed, then set it to some music, just to see the effect... obviously this is a rough mock up, didn't sort out the resolution etc...

Feel free to play with the idea, I'm not sure it's perfect, but its a workable...

As long as 1.5 isn't out, I'll probably make a movie at Easter. I got 5 weeks off then, much more time to FRAPS...

its a nice idea indeed mate, but only do it on all the drag shots where there are a massive drag, and dont always do the drag on the kill, perhaps maybe after the kill where you can see the enemy fall and do a sweet rewind with a scratch sound into the music (watching too many css vids) but in bf2 it would look sweet too also record sound as well ingame and slow mo the clip down but when you do, to stop the sound going shitty right click on the audio part then go to properties and at the bottom of that box it should say 'lock to stretch' tick that and press ok, now it will sound much better and can start doing some real syncing and slow mo effects !

My brother has the same problem.
I think you either have to buy the "full" version of fraps for sound, or get hold of a pirated "full" version.

Nice vid though.

To record 'What U hear' on fraps you need a soundcard, not onboard.
I had that problem and bought a soundcard recently and i could record in game noises etc.
I also think BF2 movies should have gun noises etc. Been watching soem COD4 videos at tek9 and they sound brilliant, much better than just a straight soundtrack.
